African Reflections Foundation handed over newly built classroom block and three renovated classrooms of Marui Mipera Primary school to the District Commissioner of Kisarawe, Hon. Jokate Mwegelo at the school grounds area, in Kisarawe District.
The event was also attended by the Minister of President’s Office – Regional Administration and Local Government (PO-RALG) Hon. Selemani S. Jafo as the Member of Parliament from Kisarawe province and a leader who was born raised and schooled at the Kisarawe district.
The building of new classrooms and renovation of old ones commenced in the end of the year 2018 and completed in July 2019.
The successful classrooms project is a result of combined efforts from Kisarawe’s District Commissioner -Hon. Jokate Mwegelo and the African Reflections Foundation founder and Honorary Consul General of the Republic Of Seychelles – Ms. Maryvonne Pool together with the people of Kisarawe.
The project was officially launched in 17/7/2019 by Hon. Selemani Jafo together with Hon. Jokate Mwegelo and other government officials together with the people of Kisarawe.
The project was directed by ARF under the sponsorship from Gullamhussein Electra Charitable Trust. Special thanks to the people in Kisarawe.
Pupils of Marui Mipera Primary School carried their gifted their sitting desks to the newly Students of Marui Mipera Primary School when carried away their own sponsored Seating Desk for their appealing classrooms Founder of Gullamhussein Charitable Trust shaking hands with the Minister of President’s Office – Regional Administration and Local Government (PO-RALG) Hon. Selemani S. Jafo when donated soccer balls to the school. Majority of School students with their teachers sttended the event when ARF handed New school buildiing block and renovated classes to the DC of Kisarawe, Hon. Jokate Mwegelo.
